Hello! We have been having a little fun this past Friday and Saturday at our team retreat. We shopped, walked on the beach, stamped, talked, and ate! All that fun stuff that took our focus away from the normal day to day grind and helped us relax!
I want to share the beautiful cards we made this weekend. I have a fabulous team that is extremely creative!
This card was created by Linda. I love the gold she used – especially the Gold Foil Dollie behind the Nativity scene. Metallic Foil Doilies #138392 $4.00 for 24
This cute little gift box was created by Sue. Here is the side view….perfect for giving a little candy or small gift to set on someones desk or work area. This would make someones’s day to receive this little gift!
The more I use this stamp set, the more I love it! The trees in this set are just classic! (Wonderland #140365) Lisa created this beautiful card. Here’s how she did it:
- tear off the bottom right edge of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Whisper White CS
- stamp trees from Wonderland stamp set (pg. 23 in Holiday mini #139752) in Mossy Meadow ink on to the torn piece of CS
- Sponge lightly with a Stampin’ Up sponge (#101610 cut into a wedge – these are super sponges because there is no chemical additive on them!) some Night of Navy ink all behind the trees. * it is important to sponge all the way to the bottom of the trees giving it a true effect of whiter cold snow.
- add a little extra feeling of snow by using the 2-way glue pen#100425 and daubing all over and then sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds Glitter #133751 all over and shake off excess
- layer onto a folded piece of Whisper White CS size 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. You can use Stampin’ Dimensionals #104430 or adhere directly onto base card
Donna added to my wish list Wild About Flowers stamp set #138728. I’ve looked at it and now – it’s a must! She made a wonderful simple birthday card using the Petite Petals stamp/punch set to make the flowers pop!
I love the little deer from Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper!#139592. They look so sweet and real enough to jump off the card! Gail taught us a cool technique with the Woodland embossing folder (also a must! #139673 – yes, they are on backorder now, but plenty should be in by Dec.2nd)
Here you can see the overlap of the card front and a little of the inside.
I had been wanting to show you all this month’s Paper Pumpkin! It is beautiful!!! Cathy brought each of us a card from this month’s PP. She said she loves Paper Pumpkin because all the supplies come in the box (except for adhesive), it always has great projects, it’s easy, no planning,as a demonstrator – it adds to your monthly sales quota, you get awesome stamp sets you can’t purchase any other way. Not a member of Paper Pumpkin – just sign up and you can purchase previous kits like this one! Just go to www.mypaperpumpkin.com and click the join. You can enter my name at the end of sign up. Thank you!
Getting treats always makes me feel loved and brightens my day! Cathy gave us all that joy by presenting us with this little paper pumpkin treat bag with a surprise inside! You guessed it – another paper pumpkin kit!

Tammy created a cool snowy Christmas Card using the bundle, Flurry of Wishes. This bundle comes with a punch that punches out 2 sizes of snowflakes that you have stamps for in the stamp set.
I love the silver embossing she used for the snow flakes – Versamark #102283 and silver embossing powder #109131. Then to top it off and make the “icy” effect – Basic Rhinestones #119246 – comes with different sizes of Rhinestones on the sheet.
Love this unique use of bundle, Wondrous Wreath from Pat!
She used the Hardwood background stamp for the “banister” effect and split the wreath in half for a garland. The bow is stamped and die cut too with the framelits that come with this bundle – a winner of a card!
I thought this was the cutiest of cards – especially for that man who loves hunting!
Use Red Glimmer paper #121790 with a square framelit and then layer a square piece of Whisper White on top stamped with antlers from Wonderland #139752 – the classic stamp set with the trees above. Add candy dots and a glimmer brad or Home for Christmas Enamel Dots #140536 for his nose.
Color Challenge – try this color combination! It is Perfect Plum, Pool Party, and Silver Glimmer paper with a Rimmed Pearl in the middle #138394
Mom and I made this flower this afternoon when we stamped together. I loved the color combination. We put it on a little folder with some pages we stamped on for mom to write sayings about flowers on.
I would love for you to join my team of stampers! We have team meetings about every 2 months and learn new techniques, business tips, new ideas to try, and have great fellowship together! Each year around this time, we have a retreat together. This year it was at a house at Ocean Isle Beach, NC Here we are enjoying stamping together!
One of the highlights is a special pillow gift – this year, we used the Festive Flower Builder Punch and Gold Foil to make the packaging so elegant! #139682 and #132622
