For that extra WOW factor….try a slider card! It’s easier that you think! I like the color pop from using Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant cardstock for this card. Pull out the tab on top and get a real color pop from fully colored in flowers.
To begin with…..cut and score a piece of 8 1/2″ x 10 1/2″ Elegant Eggplant cardstock
After it is cut, it should look like this…..
We added a little twist to this card by adhering a piece of Wisteria Wonder cardstock to the middle flap. It measures 3 3/4″ x 5″
When you have finished cutting and scoring your base card, die cut the window. For this particular card, we used a framelit from Deco Label Framelits. with cardstock completely open place the Deco framelit on the piece that will be the card front and
then fold the middle center piece over the Deco Label like this….. to die cut
Next cut a piece of Stampin’ Up Window Sheet that measures 3 3/4″ x 5″ and one piece of Whisper White cardstock 3 3/4″ x 5″
Stamp the flowers from Helping Me Grow stamp set (pg. 20) onto the Whisper White cardstock in Stazon Black Ink
Next, Using a Stamp-a-ma-jig, stamp the same flowers onto the Window Sheet with Stazon Black ink. It is imperative to use a Stamp-a-ma-jig to align the flowers exactly on top of one another so you are NOT seeing double on your finished card! So your end result should be stacking the window sheet exactly on top of the whisper white cardstock and the flowers stamped on each sheet exactly on top of one another.
Color in your stamped flowers on the piece of Whisper White cardstock. I like to put my ink from marker or ink pad on to a tile (found at hardware store) and use a Blender Pen to swipe color from tile and color my image.
Once you have finished coloring your flowers or image, use a short strip of fast fuse at the top of your whisper white cardstock and attach the window sheet there. This should be the only place to attach the 2 sheets together. Now make a pull tab at the top of the 2 attached sheets. You can do this by punching a hole or making a piece of cardstock to attach to the front window sheet and the back of the whisper white sheet.
Now to finish the base card, fold the sides and back out of the way, and stamp tone on tone with some flowers. When finished, fold up the middle of the card – no adhesive on it. Fold in the sides and place fast fuse on the edge of one side and attach the other to close up.
Finish embellishing the front as you like. We used some punched flowers and rhinestones with silver glimmer paper. Use a circle punch and punch through both front and back of the top card base. This makes it easier for the pull tab.
Put the window sheet/colored whisper white cardstock in the base card by placing the whisper white part in the back of the middle sheet in card base and place the window sheet in the front of the of the middle sheet.
The result will be the appearance of black and wisteria wonder flowers and when pulled, beautiful colored in flowers.

Theresa made a couple of great masculine cards with her set!
This is the card my mom and I made today – well actually 4 of them. I like to work in even numbers and mom likes to have more than 2 made…so we usually make 4 of the same card. It usually doesn’t take that much more time to make 4 of the same card and you always need an extra card!
This is a preview of the new card fold you’ll learn next month in club!
Thanks for visiting! I encourage you to STAMP something today! You’ll enjoy yourself and make someone else happy too!
