Swirly Bird Whimsy

I am so lovin’ the new 2016-2017 Stampin’ Up catalog!  There are so many fun bundles to choose from!

If you feel like that too…..consider joining my team and get a discount on what you order.  Until June 30th – 4 more days! Stampin’ Up has a special offer when you join in June…it is 2 FREE stamp sets – any 2 you want to have!  It is a wonderful perk!  I think for one of my free sets, I would choose the New Letters for You stamp set which would be a $49.00 savings just for joining!

Also, 4 more days for an extra $35.00 in hostess benefits with a $350 party!

I’m also having fun with Swirly Bird stamp set and framelits bundle!  Here are a couple more samples I got from our swap on the cruise…

This card also features new Peekaboo Peach In Color

I love the subtle background the swirly are placed on.  They are stamped with the Swirly Bird stamp set.  This card features Flirty Flamingo.

Can’t you see a young girl excited to get this birthday card!  What fun!

I really like the flower from this set….it’s a hostess set, called Gift of Love.  Very easy to use.  It is photopolymer.  Stamp the outline first in Basic Black, Memento, or Stazon Black and then stamp flower color and leaf color.  This artist used one of my favorite In Colors, Sweet Sugarplum.  Pearl embellishments and ribbon bring it to life.

Liz needed a coordinating birthday card and bag.  Here are some cute cards she came up with from a retired hostess set.

Sunday Stamping with my mom brought a copy from my downline swap….thank you Donna B!

open to this….

We used the NEW Calypso Coral Ombre Ink Pad with stamp set Flower Shop and Pansy Punch.  Was a really easy card to make.

  • cut a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock 4 1/4″ x 11″
  • score at 5 1/2″ which is exactly in half
  • cut off the front fold a piece 2 1/4″ deep to the 5 1/2″ score line
  • emboss front
  • attach stamped fand punched lowers in Calypso Coral Ombre Ink Pad
  • we attached a flower on the inside piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5/14″
  • found some retired peach ribbon that matched the lighter color perfectly
  • colored some rhinestones with my Blendabilities markers (still love them!) and attached to the center of the flowers
