July scrapbook 1

In the Yearly catalog, Stampin’ Up introduced new sponge brayers!  They are different than the brayers we have had.  These brayers are made to be disposable…..but you will actually be able to use them over and over!  The foam roller transfers ink really well and doesn’t leave those dark lines on the edges as the rubber brayer did.  You can see above where I have used the brayer to make sand at the bottom of the ocean and then continued to brayer the inks blending into one another to transfer from sand to water.  I continued to get lighter as the water rose to the top of my page.

When you are ready to change colors on ink, just take foam roller off and clean under a faucet of running water and squeeze dry.  Finish by air drying and then you are ready to brayer the next color of ink!

We also used the brayer to make these cards…..

Order your brayer today….Cost is $8.00 for 2 handles and 4 foam rollers. Item # 141714.  Great to use with the Speciality DSP like on the above 2 cards.

Our other scrapbook spread is fun for horse lovers and nonhorse lovers alike – it’s just so versatile!  Imagine what pictures you could put on this spread!

July scrapbook 2

I did use some retired Stampin’ Up punches….the Wide Oval Punch and the Small Oval Punch to make the horses.
