Sunday (or Monday) greetings! As you have seen for the past weeks posts, I have really enjoyed Stampin’ Up embossing paste! Here again, embossing paste was colored and used to make a brick chimney for Santa to slide down the night before Christmas! hehe
After the embossing paste for brick chimney was dry, we sponged it with Crumb Cake ink to give a more realistic brick look.
The moon was made by punching a circle and then reinserting the card stock into the punch and punching again – this time just a thin sliver instead of a whole circle.
Santa stamps and dies come in a bundle…..#146060 $37.75
Additionally, this week I have some superb cards from my team to show you! Seeing these cards makes me excited for Christmas to come……ok maybe not too fast…..we all need to make our Christmas cards first!
Christmas in the Making stamp set #144841 from Linda M. takes us back in time to warm fuzzes preparing for a Merry Christmas!
Cheers to the Year stamp set # 144925 with beautiful Year of Cheer Specialty DSP # 144640. I love the uniqueness of this card – it catches my attention with the circle on top extending the card to the traditional size!
The Year of Cheer Specialty DSP is beautiful and so elegant! It uses new color Champagne, copper, gold, and silver.
Another simply beautiful and elegant card made with Year of Cheer Specialty DSP!
Feel the crispness in the air with a snowy Christmas feel from this card….very easy to make for all on your Christmas list!
Another card to put the chill of the season to warm your heart with a Merry Christmas greeting! Love the window dies to make this card with Card Front Builder Thinlit Dies # 144674.
Thank you Cathy for making this card! What a beautiful gift this card is! She used Seasonal Lantern bundle #146073
Yes, there is a little battery operated tea light inside! The card lays flat to mail but be sure to include the little tea light!
Oops! forgot to crop my work area out of this picture 🙂 Just had to show off the Be Merry Kit #144648. It is a fun kit to put together with the kids! Then decorate with some popcorn (and eat some too!) and Christmas Rosette Ornaments a little tree! You will be a hit – the kids will be so excite they helped and had a fun afternoon with you!
Finally, I wanted to show you my mom’s Sunday afternoon creations with me. I stamp with her most Sunday afternoons, helping her make the cards she uses. I was especially touched with today’s project…..she wants to make about 25 cards to give to her friend to use for Christmas. So this is the first design she initiated.
A retired Stampin’ Up background stamp she had me cut into pieces to use (one of my sons cut wood blocks to remount several years ago), new Decorative Ribbon Border punch #143721, and new Faceted Gems in gold #144141, and some retired Stampin’ Up DSP with my favorite Christmas color…..Cherry Cobbler card stock!
