Die cutting one side of framelit

Today, my mom wanted to make some bookmarks….but larger than the Tag Topper Punch.  How do you do that?……Lots of Labels Framelits to the rescue!  If you did not order the Lots of Labels Framelits – they are retired now….but an awesome new set of framelits will be available next month!

Click on the flyer above to see!  The framelits are really nice shape…you get 3 different sizes plus check out the NEW colors of Watercolor Pencils too!

Only while supplies last August 1st – August 31st

Here’s what mom and I made this afternoon….

I was really please….the DSP she wanted to use coordinated so perfectly with the new stamp set, Healing Hugs!  I love the sentiment but the rose coordinated perfectly with the roses in the DSP!  And I used new color, Lovely Lipstick to coordinate perfectly with the DSP.

For the bookmark on the left, notice the New Rose Metallic Thread under the retired butterfly punch….perfect!

I love having a “stash” of retired Stampin’ Up supplies…..something RETIRED pairs perfectly with something NEW!

You may not be able to see in my picture, but I sued the Wink of Stella to add a subtle glimmer to the Lovely Lipstick rose.

NOW For the Framelit trick!

Cut a sheet of Card Stock 2 7/8″ in width for the largest Lots of Labels Framelits and 2 1/2″ in width for the next smaller framelit.  Place the card stock inside of the framelit on the top and let it hang out on top of the framelit on the bottom side like this….

Run the top half through the Big Shot to get this perfect dieccut!

and now embellish!
