Over the Moon for you

I had so much fun creating this months scrapbook spreads! I copied the idea from a card I saw and made for the Sr. Center class this month.

This little spotted guy is so cute! Stamp him with Memento ink and color in his spots with Dark Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend Marker. The “spots” for the background are made with the 2 smaller stamps from Love What You Do pg. 143 in the annual catalog.

Love, Love, Love the next pages! They use Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper and Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape. Of course, it is my colors! To make the flowers….just use the Pressed Petals Washi Tape, one petal at a time. I used 6 petals from the Washi tape for each flower and completed the flower with a Perennial Essence Floral Center.

Each piece of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP with distressed and sponged with Crumb Cake ink. The DSP comes with 4 sheets of double sided paper….it is a little thinner than normal but more for you to use in the package!

Supplies:

#149585 Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape $7.50

#149500 Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper $14.50

#149442 Perennial Essence Floral Centers $6.00

#149593 3/8″ Scalloped Lace Trim $7.00

Guest Artist this week is Linda M.

I love how she made this card so simple but so complex using the DSP as a background to stamp on. And using the new daisy punch make such a nice flower. And most importantly…..the message made me smile and feel loved! Thank you Linda!

Here are some cards for you to be inspired and copy! These are the cards that were made at this months Sr. Center card class:

Another great looking card….but so so easy with Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper! the card base is Terracotta Tile ( one of the In Colors) and Mint Macaroon. Cut out a background from one of the pieces of Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP and then fussy cut one of the hummingbirds from the DSP…..and put your special message to that special someone!

#149478 Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper $14.50

#144179 1/4″ Copper Trim $6.00

Above card is one you’ll make at the next Muffins and Me class Saturday, September 7th along with a fall apple card and 2 gift projects

Birthday Cards/Stained Glass Dies

It’s been one long birthday month….in a good way! Today, my kids made me a cake and gave me a covered cake plate! Not sure cake will last any longer at my house with a see through glass. Here are more birthday cards to enjoy and copy for your loved ones!

The red/white polka dot “Happy Birthday” card actually has an acetate front with a strip of DSP at the top and bottom and the words die cut out of the DSP….totally simple but it wow!

Stained Glass Dies

recently, I made a card using these dies….so delicate and beautiful! Here I die cut using copper foil. A “window” was die cut using the same dies before I die cut the foil.

Tip – because the die cut is so narrow, squeeze some Tombo in a plate or on your Silicone Mat and use a wedge of sponge and daube up and down to put a little adhesive on the back of your die cut window frame

With every $50 purchase before tax and shipping, you will receive a coupon code for $5 to use on an August order. That’s a 10% savings!
Another opportunity to join my team with added benefits! Now through August 31st, you can join Stampin’ Up for $99 and receive $155 of your choice of products and receive a $10 coupon code to use the month after you join.
Why join?
* discount on Stampin’ Up products you want
* join me for team meetings every 2 months
* ability to register for SU convention (next one is in Atlanta and will go as a team & you’ll get upcoming Spring catalog and products first)

Card Artist share/ Pictures from the Greek Isles

Let me start with a few awesome cards to inspire you from Gail and Debbie!

created from retired Work of Art by Stampin’ Up

Here are a few pictures from our trip to the Greek Isles….it was a wonderful trip, one of the best in every way! The ship was big, but on the smaller side and bed/room comfortable. Food…well, we certainly didn’t starve! Scenery was beautiful….very hot, but so peaceful and charming. I had a great birthday that lasted for days….each day I thought it was my birthday lunch and Scott again and again treated me to lunch in the city and then a final supper at Chops restaurant on the ship. Holiday catalog ….so much to order and play with! Lots of fabulous goodies to bring home from the Holiday Catalog!!!

Santorini, This little – big village is made up of all white washed buildings and a lot of blue dome roofs. We were tendered by a boat to the pier and then in the 4th picture you see a winding road on the right we were bused up and to the left, we went straight down the cliff in a cable car. I was fascinated by the lights all coming on in the city at dusk in the last picture.

Mykonos, Here we viewed one of the largest ruins that was being excavated. It was so peaceful and beautiful by the sea – very, very hot that day.

Interesting….gyros very good! But….they come with french fries in them

This was our last day at port….this time at Katalone. It was a really small town. You see big tents by the pier where we sat under and had lunch at one of the restaurants and then walked the street behind to shop.

Let me switch gears here and share some of my sweet birthday cards!
