I am pleased to announce the winners of the Chick Challenge! Here is a little about out judge….
Guest Judge Joyce Feraco will be celebrating her 25 year anniversary with Stampin’ Up! in April. She has earned the incentive trip every year since she began. She was the third person in the history of SU! to achieve the million dollar sales award. She is blessed to have been able to travel the world and be part of such an amazing stampin’ family. However, her biggest achievements will always be on the home-front. She is a military wife (he is retired now, but that was her life for 23 years), mother of six and grandmother to two adorable twin girls!
Some thoughts to the participants from Joyce: "Stampin’ Up! makes my heart smile - every.single.day. and I can see by your creations that same can be said for each of you.” Many blessings to you. Joyce Feraco
I was very honored to be able to be the guest judge for the Chick Challenge Cards. Choosing the winners was challenging because there were so many detailed, fun and unique designs to choose from. I loved the array of colors and techniques - watercoloring, Stampin’ Blends, markers, sponging and more. I’m always intrigued with new card cuts and the general use of DSP. I stand in awe of all the talent that was represented with these cards. Let me just say the stampers are all so very creative – the details were mind blowing. However, since I was tasked with judging here are the results:
Most Colorful award: #107 – Surprising and fun choice of colors – loved the gradient backgrounds, the pop out fence and streamers – makes me want to have a party! Sara Willis
Best Technique award: #100 – Everyone loves a surprise….and just like that you have TWO! Love the technique, the pop ups, color combination and the use of embellishments. Annette deRuyter
The Cutest Chick award: #110- Tik Tok…. I really liked the bright colors and how it was all incorporated into a unique CLOCK! Fun, sassy and certainly cute! Time well spent. Becky Smith
Overall Grand prize: #103 – the level of detail is nothing short of amazing; the balance and the use of the multitude of elements left me speechless. Very well executed! Linda Mitchel
And here are all the entries. As you can here in Joyce’s words, this was a challenging job to judge the entries….they were all over the top cards, awesome, detailed, beautiful winners! I have some really talented stampers in my sphere! Thank you for entering! We’ll do this again sometime soon.
